Working with StarBarre

History

The first Harmony exercise sequence was developed in 2015 as a standing-based, pain-free functional movement system. In 2022, the patent-pending StarBarre was created to provide a convenient tool for practicing Harmony sequences at home or in the studio.

StarBarre Advantages

  • Flexible anchoring – Can be attached to any hinged door or wall hook.

  • Adjustable height – The bar easily slides up or down to match different exercises.

  • Dual function – Can be used like a ballet barre (pushed toward the wall/door) or like suspension straps (pulled from the wall hook or door top).

  • Integrated focus – Unique brackets hold a mobile device at eye level, close to the user, supporting concentration and creating an intimate connection with the guided exercise.

StarBarre Availability

Currently, only a limited number of prototypes and early production units exist. Mass production is planned soon, with availability for exercise studios, rehabilitation clinics, and individual users.

No-Equipment Practice

Until StarBarre units are widely available, you can still practice Harmony sequences effectively without specialized equipment. All you need is a waist-height surface to lean on, a wall, and a chair. At home, simple substitutes include:

  • A kitchen counter

  • A windowsill

  • A balcony railing

With or without the device, daily practice remains accessible and effective.
